ASI Broadband started because the big telecom companies weren't getting the job done. In Michigan's Thumb region — along the shores of Lake Huron and across the rural communities inland — reliable high-speed internet was either unavailable, unreliable, or ridiculously overpriced.
We knew there had to be a better way. Using enterprise-grade wireless technology and building our own carrier-class network infrastructure from scratch, we set out to deliver broadband that actually works — fast, affordable, and supported by people who live in the same communities they serve.
Today, ASI Broadband is a fully independent ISP with its own ARIN-allocated IP address space and BGP-routed backbone. We're a real ISP — not a reseller — with full control over our network, our service quality, and the experience we deliver to every customer.

ASI Broadband's core service area spans Michigan's Thumb region — the beautiful Lake Huron shoreline communities from Port Huron up through Lexington, Port Sanilac, and beyond, along with the inland towns of Sandusky, Croswell, Deckerville, and their surrounding areas. Our fiber network extends across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois, with cross-border connectivity to Sarnia, Ontario and the North America Carrier Hotel in Toronto.
